#360 - Weekly Energy Update for Dec 22 - 28: Capricorn Season

Give yourself a break this week. We begin a brand-new chapter next week with a new moon and the start of the year. Take this week to relax and enjoy life before that happens. 
Capricorn season started yesterday on the Solstice. Capricorn is a Cardinal sign that carries the energy of new beginnings and fresh starts. Capricorn season is perfect for making step-by-step plans and building foundations for what’s next.  
This year's Capricorn Season is more grounded and practical than usual because Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Chiron are all retrograde throughout the season. Focus on making a practical plan for steady progress toward your goals next year. 
The longer a time or day is celebrated, the stronger its energy becomes. Christmas has been celebrated for over 1,700 years, and Hanukkah for 2,100 years! But the magic of this season goes back even further. Cultures like the pagans, Romans, Greeks, and indigenous peoples honored this time of year around the solstice for thousands of years. 
No matter your spiritual or religious beliefs, there's no denying that this is a sacred, powerful time of year. Don’t rush through it. Don’t stress your way through it. Take some time to honor your life. Honor how far you’ve come this year. Make every moment special. #359 - Weekly Energy Update for Dec 15 - 22: Full Moon in Gemini

Sunday's last Full Moon of the year is the perfect time to pause and reflect on the past year. It’s a chance to appreciate how much we’ve grown, and intentionally wrap up the year, so we can open up to what awaits us in 2025.
This Full Moon helps us to let go of everything we want to leave behind. This is a fantastic time for cleansing rituals, cord-cutting, job-quitting, or anything else that makes you feel like you're letting go of all the old, outdated energy.  Full moons allow you to say, “Okay, universe, I’m ready for the next chapter.” 
Mercury goes direct on the same day as this full moon is Gemini. Mercury has been retrograde since November 25th. When Mercury is retrograde, it travels through our subconscious, digging up knowledge and insight we've missed. The clarity from this full moon and Mercury going direct gives us some insight into what's coming next. 
This week ends with the Winter Solstice on Saturday, the 21st. Spiritually, the winter solstice marks an awakening from slumber. It wakes us up.
This December is all about preparing for the upcoming year.  2025 is a big year with lots of changes. We’re getting the entire month of December to prepare for it. Enjoy the final moments of the year just soaking up this lovely time. And give yourself permission to dream a little about what’s next.

#358 - Weekly Energy Update for December 8 - 15: Time for Reflection

2025 is coming to an end. We're slowing down, and since Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus are all currently retrograde, this is a good time to go within to reflect and take stock of your life.
Neptune gives us some help and clarity with all of this reflection. Yesterday, Neptune went direct after being retrograde since July. This means the fog is lifting. As we enter this slower time and reflect on our year, we get a better understanding of this year's significance and our next steps. 
When Neptune is retrograde, we’re not clear, it’s like we’re in an emotional fog. We may not know what the hell is happening to ourselves or the world.  
When Neptune goes direct, the fog lifts, and any uncertainty we might’ve had around our goals, dreams, and what we want starts to fade. Our intuition is stronger, and we make choices based on alignment rather than uncertainty and we simply KNOW. 
Neptune is the planet of dreams, illusions, and spirituality. It is currently in Pisces, its ruling planet. Neptune’s energy is amplified in Pisces helping us feel more spiritually connected. We’re in the flow and our intuition is spot on. This is the perfect energy to reflect and think about what’s next.
Neptune going direct reminds us that the Universe works in mysterious and magical ways and that our job is to keep our hearts open and trust the process, even when we can’t see exactly where it’s leading.

#357 - Weekly Energy Update for December 1 - 8: December Numerology

This December is a gift. There is so much change happening in the first half of 2025, with Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Chiron, and Neptune all changing signs. But before that happens, it's nice to have this month to relax, refocus, and recalibrate. 
December is our fresh start. It’s all about looking to the future. We’ve been through some stuff this year and more changes are coming. December is our opportunity to think about who we want to be as we move forward.  
With Mercury currently retrograde and Mars going retrograde on Friday, this is the time to slow down and reevaluate our beliefs and long-term goals before we move forward.
When Mars is moving forward we feel it externally by taking action in our external lives. When Mars is retrograde, its effects are more internal, psychological, and emotional.
During this transit, we focus on what’s happening internally, it’s our chance to get our shit together, and prioritize our mental and emotional wellness, so we are ready for what comes next.
Mars Retrograde can make us feel sluggish and we may not have much motivation. It can feel like hitting the pause button, but this is all part of the recalibration process.
One of the things that makes this December so magical is its numerology. In numerology, December is an 11 Universal Month. 11 is one of numerology’s “Master Numbers.”
A master number 11 month is about our spirituality. Our intuition is on point, and we feel connected, to ourselves and spirit. We know why we are here this lifetime and understand our purpose. This month is a time for deep self-reflection and alignment with your life purpose.
The energy of 11 can feel intense because of the inner & spiritual work we’re doing so it’s important to stay grounded, and give yourself time to just be and let the universe do its thing.
This December is truly a gift. The energy this month helps us to slow down, take stock of our lives, realign with what truly matters, and get back in balance. Think of this month as a sacred pause.

#356 - Weekly Energy Update for Nov 24 - Dec 1: Mercury Retrograde & Thanksgiving Astrology

We’re wrapping up the year with the final Mercury Retrograde of 2024. But before you roll your eyes and think, “Oh great, what now?”—as far as Mercury Retrogrades go, this is a pretty good one!
Mercury rules over communication, transportation, and technology, so when it’s moving forward through the zodiac, those parts of life tend to flow pretty smoothly. But three or four times a year, for about three weeks each time, Mercury slows down and appears to move backward from our view on Earth. That’s when things ruled by Mercury can get a little wonky —flights might be delayed, traffic feels worse, emails go missing, and miscommunications happen.
This Mercury retrograde is happening in Sagittarius. Sagittarius, symbolized by the archer, is all about seeking and adventure. But this time, thanks to Mercury retrograde, seeking and adventure are happening within.
The archer’s arrow is aimed inward, helping us to redefine who we are, what matters most to us, and where we’re headed.  This is not a time to chase after external goals but a time to discover a deeper, more authentic version of ourselves.
For the next 3 weeks, while Mercury is retrograde,  we’ll be spending time reflecting, revising, reimagining, reevaluating, rethinking, and tying up loose ends before the end of the year.
November started with a new moon and it’s ending with one, too. Saturday's New Moon is the second new moon in the month, making it a Black Moon. A black moon’s energy amplifies new beginnings and spiritual growth. It’s a power time to set intentions and do deep inner work.
The astrology this week supports having one of the best Thanksgivings yet! Create space for rest and reflection. Your body and mind need time to process the deep shifts taking place.  Just surrender to the magic of the transformation happening right now.

#355 - Weekly Energy Update for Nov 17 - 24: Sagittarius Season & Pluto in Aquarius

We've had an intense Scorpio season over the past month, and I think we're all ready to move on. The good news is that Friday marks the beginning of the Sagittarius season, which ushers in a time of abundance, luck, adventure, and socializing.
Every Sagittarius season is unique depending on what else is happening in the sky, and this year is all about our inner evolution. We’re redefining our identity, values,  and where we’re headed.
One of the primary reasons this season is about inner growth is because it contains a Mercury Retrograde. During Mercury Retrograde we always reflect, rethink, and recalibrate.
The transition of Pluto into Aquarius is the other factor influencing Sag Season. Pluto enters Aquarius on November 19 and stays there for the next 20 years. This has a huge impact on all of us both collectively and individually.
Pluto is about death, rebirth, purging, shedding, and regeneration. It’s the planet that connects us to our shadow side. Pluto is famous for extreme shifts whenever it moves into a new sign. It’s entering Aquarius which is about embracing the future and letting go of the way we've been doing things. 
The last time Pluto passed through Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, and that’s when the American and French Revolutions occurred. We’re undergoing a profound evolution. The outdated systems are breaking down so we can rebuild them stronger and more equitable. 
All of us are going through a radical transformation. We're moving toward freedom and spiritual growth, leaving behind things that are old, stagnant, and outdated. 
The time for new beginnings is here. Use this month to go inward, pause, reflect, listen to your intuition, and trust that we are being guided to something far greater than we can see now.

#354 - Weekly Energy Update for Nov 10 -17: Full Moon in Taurus & 11/11 Numerology

Times like these are exactly why we have a spiritual practice - to keep ourselves centered and balanced when things get challenging. Anyone can be present on those beautiful days when the sun is shining and the sky is blue. This is our chance to truly practice being present. When we stay present, fear loses its grip, because fear only exists when we think about the future. There’s no fear in the present.
The Dalai Lama once said that "the world will be saved by the Western woman." This is our fucking moment. And we embrace it by stepping into our power. With Pluto’s shift into Aquarius next week, we're entering a time to embrace our spirituality on a deeper level. We need our practice now to stay present and centered and empowered.
Tomorrow, November 11, does provide a little break from the intensity this month. In numerology, 1 is the highest number energetically.  It is the ultimate angel number because it is the beginning of everything—the start of something new.
Eleven is a master number, and master numbers are extra powerful. 11 represents new beginnings, the start of a new phase of life, and spiritual enlightenment. 11/11 acts as a catalyst for spiritual awakening and is a very positive day to set intentions for the future you. 
On Friday, the 15th, there will be a Full Moon in Taurus. It is last of four supermoons in a row this year. This full moon is in a tight conjunction to Uranus. That sends a shockwave to our sense of security. Uranus is the planet of change and also the planet of awakening. The awakening Uranus brings is sometimes disguised in the form of change and upheaval. 
This Full Moon is in Taurus. Taurus is an earth sign that encourages us to work hard and have patience when dealing with challenges. This is exactly the energy we want right now. Taurus loves comfort and luxury. Leaning into comfort helps us get through this intense month. Good food, a cozy home, and spending time in nature all help ground our energy so we feel more secure and calm.  
While full moons are about completion and endings, they also serve as a precursor to the next cycle, helping us to reset and focus on what’s next. Use this full moon to get grounded and back in balance.

#353 - Weekly Energy Update for Nov 3 - 10th: Election Week Astrology

You can feel the collective unease in the air with the uncertainty and stress of the upcoming election. Today's Pluto-Mars opposition adds to this uneasiness and intensifies the tension even further. While the opposition peaks today, its energy will stick around for several more days—right through Election Day.
Mars is the planet of war, action, and aggression, while Pluto is the planet of death and destruction. As you can imagine, when Mars and Pluto are in opposition to one another, strong emotions, anger, and sometimes even violence are triggered.
This opposition of Mars in Cancer directly opposing Pluto in Capricorn is happening at the 29th degree. The 29th degree is the final degree of a sign and it represents a point of culmination, urgency and transition. It's referred to as the degree of fate.  
The 29th degree carries the full, concentrated energy of the sign. It's like the grand finale for that sign’s qualities, where everything about that sign comes into play, often in a heightened or dramatic way.
Pluto will be moving from Capricorn into Aquarius, the sign in which the US declared its independence, in a few days. This election takes place against the backdrop of Pluto's transit into Aquarius, marking the beginning of an entirely new era for the nation. Pluto is still in Capricorn when the election is held, so change and accountability are highly valued, and voters are drawn to politicians who want to combat corruption and update our outdated systems.
Mercury Retrograde is another factor that contributes to the energy this week. Although Mercury won't retrograde until the 25th, this week marks the beginning of the Pre-shade energy.
Mercury retrograde is infamous for creating delays as well as communication and technological problems, which may, but hopefully will not, affect voting, particularly in this very controversial election.
Be extra cautious about misinformation, voting machine errors, and delayed results. Mercury retrograde during election season means that it could take a while before we know the outcome.

There's mystery and magic in the air this week as we celebrate Halloween, the Day of the Dead, Samhain, and the New Moon in Scorpio.  
Halloween and Samhain are times when the veil between the physical world and spirit world is at its thinnest, allowing us to communicate more easily with the spirit world. The powerful new moon in Scorpio amplifies our ability to communicate even more.
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, the planet of the underworld, making this New Moon particularly powerful for connecting with our ancestors, spirits, and guides. If you’ve ever wanted to communicate with the other side, this week is your chance.
